One of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of starting a non-profit is gaining clarity on our purpose and how that guides our work in serving the community.

Earlier this year, the executive team and board members gathered for a stimulating session to discuss how to best represent ourselves and the work we are committing to. The results of that session include finalizing the mission statement and identifying our core values.

Mission Statement: AAPI Placer County supports our local AAPI community in creating spaces to be seen, heard and understood by means of advocacy and celebration of AAPI cultures and contributions.
